Niels E.
Kreipke
Mr. Kreipke began his construction and
renovation projects in Tucson focusing on
small to medium-size strip centers and
residential projects. His first
project in the Valley was the construction.
startup, and management of a 25,000 square
foot health club. In 1997, Mr. Kreipke
returned to full-time property development,
managing design-and-build as well as
rehabilitation projects, including shopping
centers and freestanding commercial
buildings. An early rehabilitation
project was the Historic Suhwaro Hotel in
Downtown Chandler, a dilapidated structure
unoccupied for more than twenty years.
Rehabilitating the Suhwaro Hotel under the
guidelines of the State Historic
Preservation Office and the National Park
Service began his love of historic buildings
and their return to useful service.
Under Mr. Kreipke's direction, Desert Viking
has completed numerous historic restoration
projects throughout the Valley.
