Desert Viking is engaged in acquisition, development and management of real estate throughout the greater Phoenix area. Established in 1998 as a family-owned business, Desert Viking has committed itself to working within Chandler and downtown Phoenix historic districts. Historic restoration projects include the Chandler’s Historic Suhwaro Hotel – built in 1916 and restored by Desert Viking in 1998 – and Phoenix’s landmark Gold Spot – built in 1925 and restored in 2003. Recognized for its unprecedented developments, Desert Viking has been praised by the Arizona governor, the Historic Preservation Office and municipalities Valleywide.

Pioneering downtown Chandler’s redevelopment boom, Desert Viking is committed in creating a downtown that embraces the urban lifestyle while respecting its 90-year-old history. In addition to resorting many of downtown Chandler’s landmarks, Desert Viking planned and built San Marcos Commons, downtown Chandler’s first mixed-use development.
